Dual registration

What is dual registration?

As part of the efforts to harmonise EPD information internationally, the International EPD System has established Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) with other EPD programme operators for dual registration of EPDs.

These mutual recognition agreements allow EPDs registered in the International EPD System to also be published in other programmes (and vice-versa), carrying two registration numbers and two logos for increased market recognition.

Fees for dual registration

When an EPD is registered at another EPD programme operator, but the EPD owner would like the same EPD to be registered at EPD International System, the following one-time fee would be invoiced by EPD International AB.

Dual registration fees (per EPD):

From AENOR Global EPD: € 500
From EPD Danmark: € 333
From Institut Bauen und Umwelt: € 500
From the Norwegian EPD Foundation: € 300
From Rakennustieto EPD: € 300

When an EPD is registered at EPD International System, but the EPD owner would like the same EPD to be registered at another EPD programme operator, the following one-time fee would be invoiced by the specific programme operator.
